BUILDING THE FUTURE:

Adaptive. Innovative. Green.

MISSION

Our mission is to set people free by giving them the ability to make choices. We believe a community that embraces people, as they are, is a home. A home is where you fall down and get back up. A home is a safe place. A home is where you always belong. A home is where you create an independent sense of self and who you are in the world. We aim to create “home” for all people.

OUR BELIEFS

  • 1. Everyone has a place and a purpose.
  • 2. There is not freedom without us all being free.
  • 3. Initiating fights that are long overdue.
  • 4. The natural process in life is chaos, reform, stability, then growth.
  • 5. Problems are filled with magic.

HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1: DESIGN

You can choose from our BiHome designs or submit your own plans for a custom BiHome tailored to your specific preferences and needs.

STEP 2: FINANCE

Once you’ve chosen your design, we’ll provide you with an estimate. From there, simply submit a pre-approval for financing. You have the flexibility to pay in cash or explore various financing options, including traditional lenders, rent-to-own, or Nonprofit Organizations (NPOs).

STEP 3: CONTRACT

Secure your reservation with a 10% deposit. Sign the contract outlining the terms and conditions, then schedule a suitable time for the construction process to begin.

STEP 4: BUILD

Our team will assess the completion of pre-construction requirements such as permits and land readiness. If paying cash, make a 40% production payment. Once production is complete, you’ll make a final 50% shipping payment (if paying cash). Our team will install the BiHome according to the agreed-upon contract specifications.

STEP 5: COMPLETION/INSPECTION

Our team will arrange for a comprehensive property inspection. We’ll provide a 1-year warranty on the structure, ensuring peace of mind and satisfaction with your BiHome.

ADAPTIVE PRINTED PANELS

(APP)

The APP construction system offers several advantages over traditional stick-built homes.

Overall, the APP construction system offers significant benefits in terms of durability, energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability, making it a superior alternative to traditional stick-built homes in many scenarios.

Strength and Durability

APP are made of a polystyrene core sandwiched between two layers of welded wire mesh, covered with concrete. This results in a highly durable structure that can withstand natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and floods better than traditional stick-built homes. The panels can bear substantial loads, providing enhanced structural stability.

Cost-effectiveness

The simplicity and speed of assembly translate into lower labor costs. There is minimal waste of materials during construction, contributing to overall cost savings.

Fire Resistance

The concrete coating on the panels provides a high level of fire resistance, making The Sage Plant homes safer in terms of fire protection compared to traditional wood-frame homes.

Improved Indoor Air Quality

APPs do not emit harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs), contributing to healthier indoor air quality.

Energy Efficiency

The polystyrene core provides excellent thermal insulation, leading to significant energy savings. This results in lower heating and cooling costs compared to traditional wood-frame houses. APP structures often exceed energy efficiency standards due to their high insulation values, reducing the environmental footprint.

Versatility in Design

APPs can be cut and shaped into various forms, allowing for diverse architectural designs and customizations that meet specific aesthetic and functional requirements. The system is highly adaptable and can be used for various types of buildings, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.

Sound Insulation

The insulation properties of the polystyrene core, combined with the concrete layers, offer good soundproofing qualities, contributing to a quieter indoor environment.

Speed and Ease of Construction

The prefabricated APPs are lightweight and can be assembled quickly, reducing construction time significantly compared to the labor-intensive process of stick-built homes. Since the APPs are prefabricated, the need for on-site formwork, scaffolding, and extensive labor is minimized.

Sustainability

The use of polystyrene and concrete is more sustainable compared to the extensive use of wood in stick-built homes. Additionally, the energy efficiency of APP buildings reduces the overall carbon footprint. The durability and low maintenance requirements of APP homes contribute to their sustainability over time.

Resistance to Pests

Unlike wood, the materials used in APP construction are not susceptible to termite damage, reducing the need for pest control treatments and maintenance.
